Serving Christ with Open Hearts

John 14:6 Jesus said to him "I am the way and the truth and the life no one comes to the father except through me".

There is only one way to heaven, and that is knowing Jesus Christ. salvation depends on believing in Christ If you do not know Christ, then you will not be saved. Lord, help each Christian to share the good news about You with the lost who need to hear about You. Allow us to be bold in sharing our faith with others.

Ezekiel 11: 19-20 And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh. that they may walk in my Statues and keep my rules and obey them and they Shall be my people, and I will be their God.

When we are sharing Christ know that God is already working in that person's life. We should be praying for the lost and that God starts softening their heart and give them a new spirit. Pray that they see God in a new light and past situations that might have caused them to harden their heart can be healed. The church needs to see the lost and God's desire to bring them into loving relationship with him.

Matthew 11: 28-30 Come to me all who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am gentle lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

I understand that this world is filled with burdens, and we live in a broken, sinful world. Most people seek comfort in everything but Jesus, running to other things away from God. Please allow the church to demonstrate that the only true comfort is in Jesus. Allow the lost to see that the way to navigate through this life is finding and following God.

Acts 16:14 One who heard was a woman named Lydia from  the city of Thyatira seller of purple goods who was a worshiper of God, the Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul.

Look what God can do, he opens her heart to hear and respond to Paul's message of the good news of Jesus Christ. Remember when we are praying for the lost we share the good news about Jesus you are not alone in this, God at times has already worked in the heart of that lost person and is preparing them to hear the gospel, Go tell the lost about the great news of Jesus Christ
